Hi- I am Chris or Christinne. I don't speak in the third person.

I am a freelance photographer based in Montreal, Canada for over 15 years now.

My style is classic, simple, and clean, with a dash of humour when appropriate, and sometimes when not! Striking!

I can mingle and mix with anyone and my greatest talent is to relax subjects in front of my camera. If they had fun along the way or just a yoga work out- it becomes dinner conversation and all is right in the world. No one has yet been harmed in the making of a photo; except for the food, yet I can work under the pressure of a group of hands reaching for a tasty tidbit.

As a stringer for Reuters I have been given the opportunity to travel the world covering both news and sporting events. I have been fortunate. I love watching history unfold and to be able to document it from my view; well, what could be better!

I love photographing people, food, travel and pets. I am curious how it all works, how we are put together and love to create that in my photos.

Here's the important name-dropping bit; read if you want, or skip the paragraph to read more about me!

I have been published in The Globe and Mail, The National Post, The Toronto Star, Macleans Magazine, Canadian Business, International Herald Tribune, The New York Times, Newsweek, USA Today, Dagbladet, Stern, Paris Match, Washington Post, National Geographic as well as worked for numerous corporate clients including the Cirque de Soleil, McGill University and Lower Canada College. I am proud to have been included in PhotoSensitive, a collective of photographers giving back by photographing social issues.

I have won awards- one! I have one award! - if I enter another and win, this line has to go.....

I am never happier than when I am taking photos and I am a sucker for any assignment that is different than todays. If you make me travel-I will send you hugs!

You tell me what you need and when you need it and I will work my butt off for you. I'm that kind of girl!
